How can I know whether users see my announcements?

Analytics

AnnounceKit's User Tracking feature lets you see whether your users are opening the widget and viewing your announcements.

Once User Tracking is enabled, AnnounceKit records each identified user's interactions with your widget. You can see:

Whether a user has seen a specific announcement — tracked when they open the widget or click through to a post.

Unread counts per user — how many announcements remain unread for each tracked user.

User activity — a list of users who have interacted with your widget, visible in the People section of your dashboard.

To see this data, User Tracking must be set up in your widget embed code. Your developer needs to pass a unique user identifier (such as an email or internal user ID) when initializing the widget. You can find full setup instructions in the User Tracking setup guide.

You can also use User Tracking data to send targeted announcements to specific segments of your users — for example, showing a post only to users on a certain plan or from a specific country.
