You can enable the "Hide badge when all read" option if you do not wish to show the widget if there are no unread posts.

For this, please go to Widgets under Settings, then click on the Widget you'd like to configure.

On the left panel, you'll have the option to "Hide badge when all read" under Launcher Settings.
