How to use the Feature Request tool in AnnounceKit?

While AnnounceKit is already packed with a wide range of features, there may be times when you find yourself wishing for a feature that helps you collect requests from your end users.

With this new feature, AnnounceKit users will be able to set up a page for their products and services where customers, users, and followers can directly suggest new features and improvements. The tool is designed to make it easy for users to submit feature requests, as well as for product managers and developers to manage and prioritize those requests.

How to enable the Feature Request Tool?

By default, your feature request tool will be inactive for your project.

You can start creating a feature request tool by clicking on the Feature Reqeust Settings, and giving your tool a title.

When you give the tool a title, by default, it'll be available in your Feed and Widgets

How to submit requests?

Your end-users can submit ideas by clicking on the "Suggest a Feature" (or whatever you have changed the tool title to).

Alternatively, your project teammates and create internal feature requests and even label them.

You can also move the submitted requests to your AnnounceKit Roadmap, to show what you are working on.

Customization options for the Feature Request tool


You can hide your feature request tool in your widgets and feed by clicking on the options below on the Feature Request settings
.

Furthermore, you can customize the colors by following the steps below.

Inside your widgets

1) Click to Edit Theme in your Widget Settings

2) Scroll down to Feature Request customization options for your Widgets

3) You can change every element of the feature request collection tool.

Inside your feed

1) Click Theme Designer in your Feed Settings

2) Scroll down Modal element customization options for your feed.
