Updated over a year ago

You can now connect your AnnounceKit project with your Jira workspace. In this article, we'll go through how to set up this integration.

What does our Jira integration do?

Jira is a project management platform by Atlassian designed to help teams of all sizes manage and track projects, tasks, and issues. It provides a range of features, such as flexible project types, Kanban boards, multiple issue types, custom issue statuses, and reporting.

With our Jira integration makes it easy to manage your backlog and feature requests by linking AnnounceKit to an Atlassian Jira instance.

How to Connect AnnounceKit to Jira

Connecting AnnounceKit to Jira is a simple and straightforward process. Here's how to do it:

1) Go to Settings > Integrations and select our Jira integration

2) After clicking on it, you'll be greeted with a screen to choose the workspace you'd like to integrate AnnounceKit with

3) After connecting your Jira workspace, you need to set up some details by clicking on the Setup button located under the Jira integration

Here's what you can choose with the integration (depending on your Jira workplace settings):

Jira Board: select which board you'd like to send your feature request suggestions to
Issue Type: select which issue type will be tagged with

Great! Now what?

Now, you'll be able to send suggestions made by your end-users, under Feature Request tab, directly to your Jira workspace.
