AnnounceKit Popups helps you create standalone announcements in your project without publishing the posts in your feed or widgets.
This is perfect for creating updates, notifying users about scheduled maintenance, redirecting them to a specific URL, or promoting your marketing campaign.
The main advantage of Popups is that usually, when you create a post in AnnounceKit, it will be visible in your feed. With this feature, you can create a quick announcement and stop it whenever you want without it being displayed on your feed.
1) What are Popups and how to create one?
The Popup will work alongside your widget on the page you have implemented so that you can display another set of announcements at the same time.
You can pause or edit the Popup whenever you want after its creation.
You can start creating popups by going to your popups on the dashboard, and clicking on "Create Popup" on the top right.
On the page, you'll be given many options while creating your popup, such as changing the popup title, body, URL, and publish/expiration date.
You can even switch between the Popup and Banner versions.
2) Customization options for Popups
Along with changing the functionality of the popups, you can also change how the popups will look.
For the Popup style, you can customize the colors of the elements inside the popup, and external elements such as font size, border, and shadow.
For the Banner Popup, you can customize the background color, text color and font size.
