Learn how to utilize and customize your roadmap

The AnnounceKit Roadmap is a powerful tool that helps product development teams plan, track, and visualize their upcoming tasks and projects. It's also a great way to keep end users informed and interested.


In this article, we will go through the steps to create a roadmap for your project.

1) How to enable the roadmap?

If you go to your Settings ≥ Roadmap, you will see the option on the top right to enable your roadmap.

You also have the option to hide your roadmap from your Widget or Feed.

You'll also have the section to edit the stages on your roadmap, by changing the stage names, colors, and their order.

To add an item to the roadmap, simply go to the "Product Roadmap" section on the dashboard, and click on "Add Item"


2) How to customize the roadmap?

You have the option to customize the following aspects of the roadmap:

  1. Text Color: Modify the color of the text.

  2. Background Color: Adjust the background color.

  3. Title Color: Change the color of titles.

  4. Border Color: Customize the color of borders.

  5. Font Size: Specify the desired font size.

  6. Line Color: Set the color for lines on the roadmap.

  7. Collapsed: Enable or disable the collapsed view.

  8. Disable Toggle: Choose whether to disable the toggle feature.

For widgets

If you go to your widgets page and click on "Edit Theme" you'll be greeted with many options to customize your widgets, one of which is to customize how your roadmap looks.

For feed

After clicking on the "Theme Designer" under your changelog settings, you'll see the options to customize how your roadmap looks.
