Collect Feature Requests in AnnounceKit

Learn how to create your own feature request tool with AnnounceKit

Updated over a week ago

While AnnounceKit is already packed with a wide range of features, there may be times when you find yourself wishing for a feature that helps you collect requests from your end users.

With this new feature, AnnounceKit users will be able to set up a page for their products and services where customers, users, and followers can directly suggest new features and improvements. The tool is designed to make it easy for users to submit feature requests, as well as for product managers and developers to manage and prioritize those requests.

1) How to enable and customize the Feature Request Tool

To enable your Feature Request, simply go to Settings > Feature Request and click the button on the top right!

Or you can click here to be redirected to your widgets!

When you give your Feature Request collection tool a name and enable it, it will be visible on your feed and widgets. Furthermore, suggestions will require approval from you, so that you can display specific suggestions and avoid spams.

However, you can customize your feature request tool however you'd like. You can select from:

  • Hide on Widgets
Enabling this will hide feature requests on all widgets.

  • Hide on Changelog
Enable this to hide feature requests from your changelog.

  • Require approval

  • Set default status to private
Feature requests that come in will only be shown to internal team members.
