Unlock the Power of NPS with AnnounceKit

A guide to get started with AnnounceKit NPS

Updated over a year ago

Our long awaited NPS feature is finally live!

Understanding customer loyalty is a key component of creating and sustaining an engaged customer base. You can learn more about how your current and potential customers feel about your product or service by measuring customer loyalty and satisfaction!

With NPS by AnnounceKit, measuring customer loyalty and satisfaction and gathering feedback will become a breeze.

NPS by AnnounceKit, also known as a “Net Promoter Score” (NPS), is an industry-standard survey type that helps businesses capture customer sentiment. It works by delivering a simple survey to customers, which asks them how likely they are to recommend a product or service to someone else. You can customize the survey to fit your needs and scale it to fit as many customers as you’d like.

1) Creating an NPS survey with AnnounceKit

Please note that you need a seperate subscription to use the NPS tool.

This means that even if you are an existing AnnounceKit user, you'd have to subscribe separately to use our NPS tool.

This also means that you can just subscribe to use the NPS tool without using the features of AnnounceKit.

1.a) For existing AnnounceKit projects with implemented widgets

As a reminder, to use our NPS tool, you need a separate subscription to NPS from your existing AnnounceKit plan.

No further implementation or integration is needed on your end if you are already an AnnounceKit user and have implemented a widget on your page.

If you haven't implemented a widget to show your posts, roadmaps, or feature requests, you can check out our article here.

You can start creating an NPS survey immediately by going to your NPS section in the Dashboard.

1.b) For new AnnounceKit NPS users

Firstly, you'd need to implement an AnnounceKit widget to start collecting responses from your users.

Under the setup section, you'll find the necessary codes to implement a widget in your applications.

Under the implementation page, you'll also see guides to implementing User Tracking & Segmentation for your widget codes. These are necessary in order to capture user information so that you know who submitted a response.

User Tracking

To make this work, you need to give each user a unique identifier in the code that embeds the AnnounceKit widget on your site. This identifier should always be the same for the same user.

See below, user ID, email and name to capture user information

Segmentation

Apart from tracking users with their IDs, emails, and names, you can also give us custom information for organizing your users. You can simply add any extra data you want to use for grouping users within the "data" section of the code.

See below, under the data field, "member_type : trial user"

After all of these are setup, you should start seeing the name of the users who have submitted a response.

Without User Tracking & Segmentation, your users will be seen as anonymous.
